 Heart of the City Christian Music Stage Besides having a vital secular music and arts scene in the Twin Cities, there is also a thriving Christian music scene as well. And this isn’t just your Grandma’s church music! The Christian music of the Twin Cities crosses all stylistic and ethnic lines – bringing a powerful mosaic of multi-cultural expressions of faith through high quality music. For the past 12 years, Heart of the City Ministries, has been focused on bringing together ethnically diverse Christian musicians through the Heart of the City Band as well as other diverse groups in hundreds of events held throughout the Twin Cities to help facilitate racial reconciliation and unity. This year, for the first time in 26 years, the Taste of Minnesota will feature a large tent with a stage called the Heart of the City Christian Music stage. Every hour and a half over the four days of the Taste, this stage will feature one of 21 different Christian bands of various ethnicities and styles going from Gospel to Reggae to Rock to Jazz to Latin styles, R &B, Reggaeton, Urban Contemporary, Modern Pop as well as Dance. This music will truly be a Taste of the culturally and musically diverse Christian music of Minnesota
